Trust -- more than believing facts. Start with the facts, believe the promise - and live the trust. Many things we are asked to endure are not FUN, and often not make much sense in this world's view of thing. But, we are asked to TRUST Jesus --
Louisa Stead -- born about 1850 at Dover, England. Having moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, she married a Mr. Stead -- and had a daughter named Lily. When the child was FOUR, the family decided to enjoy the day at the sunny beach at Long Island Sound in New York. While eating their picnic lunch, they suddenly heard cries of help and spotted a drowning boy in the sea. Mr. Stead charged into the water to save him. As often happens, however, the struggling boy pulled his rescuer under the water with him -- and both drowned before the terrified eyes of wife and daughter. Out of her "WHY?"… struggle with God during the ensuing days flowed these meaningful words from her soul:….
She married a missionary and lived out her days in Sothern Rhodesia…
